  7.      Two lotus leaves meet
  8. together to form this box, 
  9. whose cover is decorated 
  10. with lotus flowers.  Very 
  11. artfully,  the  petals  are 
  12. raised slightly in relief.  
  13. The Ch'ien-lung reign mark 
  14. is inscribed on the base 
  15. in  standard  script 
  16. calligraphy.
